Wash with soap under running water for at least 15 minutes.

Apply povidone-iodine after washing.

Don't bandage tightly or stitch at home.

હડકવાની રસી
Start anti-rabies vaccine the same day and complete all doses.

- Chilli, turmeric, oil or lime on the wound
- Skipping the vaccine for a small scratch
- Stopping doses midway

- Every bite or scratch that breaks the skin
- Deep or bleeding wounds need immunoglobulin too
- Bites on face, head or hands
